My mom died 5 years ago from breast cancer after a short but courageous battle at age 58. I was diagnosed in December, 2009 at age 42, and I have had a lumpectomy and I am on my way to recovering fully. I knew very little about save the ta-tas until a friend gave me a sweatshirt. I wear it every time I have a chance, and it always makes everyone smile…even my proper 85 year old Grandma. LOL

I LOVE save the ta-tas!! My sister came across this when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35! Your shirts and bumper magnets made my friends, family and me smile through the difficult times of surgeries and chemo! Laughter does put everyone at ease and makes the cancer process much more bearable!! I wear my ta-tas shirts proudly! My sister, close friends, and I are known as the “Ta-ta Girls” in International Falls, MN!! Thank you for the laughter!

(March 26, 2009) As we walked in the pits, the buzz that was going around when we saw the spoiler on Alan Magner’s Superstock, was, “savethetatas.com.” Responses, “What the heck? Save the what?” then a giggle, or a laugh. These words do just what they were meant to do, they catch attention, and a double look, and everyone is inquiring on what they mean. Well, these words hit hard, if you know what is behind them, you will find they have a lot of meaning to those who have had friends or family taken from us because of cancer. savethetatas.com is a working website which donates to cancer research. I love this site, I have 4 more days left of radiation, and my entire family and friends are huge breast cancer awareness supporters. I am so happy that I am almost done with all the treatments, my family is going to do a fundraiser to help support the cure for breast cancer. I will pray for all who are going through cancer and their families.

Indeed I will wear my save the ta-tas t-shirt proudly and I again, appreciate the information so I have a better understanding of how your company works. Its not free to run a business such as yours either. Your contributions are amazing as was your quick reply!!! My passion for such a thing as cancer preceded my common sense instead of simply and politely asking you for more information first. Know that your work is so very much acknowledged and important!! My Mother is breast cancer survivor!! My nephews girlfriend just went through a lumpectomy!! When your so close to something its sometimes its easy, sadly enough, to think things just aren’t enough. Not enough is getting done or donated etc. I too, will continue to help with Cancer Research of every kind. I also donate and walk for MS. Thank you for all you do!!

Well, I’m here to write about my hero: my Grandmother! 40 years ago she was hit with breast cancer. At that time she had 3 young sons and was in the prime of her life. She had a mastectomy and radiation and pulled through just fine. About 2 years ago, while lying in bed she felt another lump. Breast cancer hit again 40 years later. But, even being 74, she was stubborn and survived once again. She’s back working at Walmart full time!!! So, your foundation which I just discovered, is dear to my heart!! Thank you, for putting some humor in something that’s scary and not very funny!!! I love you guys!

‘Save the ta-tas’ I love this slogan. It represents both breast cancer survivors and previvors. I have the BRCA1 gene so had a prophylactic mastectomy in order to prevent me from getting breast cancer in future. Surgery may have saved my life…but this charity may one day “save the tatas” of someone just like me. So for those of you who find it offensive…I wish I could have saved my tatas so I didn’t have to have surgery to save my life!!!
