ta-tas® Stories
I love this site, I have 4 more days left of radiation, and my entire family and friends are huge breast cancer awareness supporters. I am so happy that I am almost done with all the treatments, my family is going to do a fundraiser to help support the cure for breast cancer. I will pray for all who are going through cancer and their families.

Indeed I will wear my save the ta-tas t-shirt proudly and I again, appreciate the information so I have a better understanding of how your company works. Its not free to run a business such as yours either. Your contributions are amazing as was your quick reply!!! My passion for such a thing as cancer preceded my common sense instead of simply and politely asking you for more information first. Know that your work is so very much acknowledged and important!! My Mother is breast cancer survivor!! My nephews girlfriend just went through a lumpectomy!! When your so close to something its sometimes its easy, sadly enough, to think things just aren’t enough. Not enough is getting done or donated etc. I too, will continue to help with Cancer Research of every kind. I also donate and walk for MS. Thank you for all you do!!

I saw one of your bumper stickers on a car the other day and it made me smile. Having been recently diagnosed with high grade, triple neg. IDC, I am ever so grateful to causes such as this that support our breast cancer research!

Well, I’m here to write about my hero: my Grandmother! 40 years ago she was hit with breast cancer. At that time she had 3 young sons and was in the prime of her life. She had a mastectomy and radiation and pulled through just fine. About 2 years ago, while lying in bed she felt another lump. Breast cancer hit again 40 years later. But, even being 74, she was stubborn and survived once again. She’s back working at Walmart full time!!! So, your foundation which I just discovered, is dear to my heart!! Thank you, for putting some humor in something that’s scary and not very funny!!! I love you guys!

‘Save the ta-tas’ I love this slogan. It represents both breast cancer survivors and previvors. I have the BRCA1 gene so had a prophylactic mastectomy in order to prevent me from getting breast cancer in future. Surgery may have saved my life…but this charity may one day “save the tatas” of someone just like me. So for those of you who find it offensive…I wish I could have saved my tatas so I didn’t have to have surgery to save my life!!!

I am a cashier at Sprouts and I have become very attached to one of the customers who shops at my store – her name is Robin and she had a double mastectomy yesterday. I noticed her immediately – she stood tall with her beautiful bald head covered by a hanky or a baseball cap. She walked with confidence and grace and had a beautiful twinkle in her eye and right away I wanted to get to know her. She amazes me so much! I am supposed to go visit her tomorrow – I am hoping she will still feel up to it. I just want to tell you THANK YOU for doing such a beautiful thing! I am a HUUUUGE supporter of breast cancer awareness. Go tatas!

Love the merchandise. I am a survivor with six daughters ranging in age from 19–31…plus I have 15 nieces. I know where I will be Christmas shopping!

I’ve been affected indirectly by breast cancer more times than I like to recollect. I love this product line! It brings a smile to my face everytime I see it, everytime I see a bumper sticker or shirt. I remember all those I’ve lost in my life to cancer, and this makes me think about how much they must be smiling in Heaven about this, too!
Thank you. For supporting cancer research, for making people smile while bringing awareness, thank you – thank you – thank you!!!
If I could afford to fly to you to hug you, I would. I can’t say it enough, THANK YOU!!!
Love and prayers,

My sister-in-law, recently diagnosed with breast cancer, was on her way with her husband (my brother) to a doctor appointment and saw one of your stickers on a bumper ahead of them. I have to tell you that we have had too much cancer in our family, mostly breast cancer.
The coincidental part is that we are of Arab (Christian Palestinian) descent and we all call our grandmothers Tata. Now we are the tatas. So SAVE THE TATAS is perfect!!!
I found your list of retailers so I will check our local stores (Bucks County, PA).
Great idea!! Congratulations!!

Story of the Month
I have stage 3 breast cancer, and I had my tanktop on in Walmart and a little boy, probably 8 years old said, "Your shirt says 'Save the ta-tas'"
"Um, yes it does honey." was my reply.
He said "Well I know what ta-tas mean...its your girls right?" smiling & pointed to his chest.
I said, "Yes it is" kinda laughing.
His dad (a soldier) was trying to get him to not be so bold & he said,
"Wait Daddy I need to know, Ma'am who is trying to steal them? 'Cause you wanna save them, but from what??!!" Probably 2 lines of people
were laughing & crying!!!
So I knelt down & told him there was this big bad disease & it hurts women, but men too, and how if people buy the shirt then money goes
to help us. He said, "My Daddy is a Captain, so we will buy the store for
you lady!!"
