I saw one of your bumper stickers on a car the other day and it made me smile. Having been recently diagnosed with high grade, triple neg. IDC, I am ever so grateful to causes such as this that support our breast cancer research!

Thursday, January 28th, 2010Well, I’m here to write about my hero: my Grandmother! 40 years ago she was hit with breast cancer. At that time she had 3 young sons and was in the prime of her life. She had a mastectomy and radiation and pulled through just fine. About 2 years ago, while lying in bed she felt another lump. Breast cancer hit again 40 years later. But, even being 74, she was stubborn and survived once again. She’s back working at Walmart full time!!! So, your foundation which I just discovered, is dear to my heart!! Thank you, for putting some humor in something that’s scary and not very funny!!! I love you guys!
