How We Calculate Donations

Ta-tas^® Brand (www.savethetatas.com) commits 5% of every sale to the Save the ta-tas^® Foundation. This includes any product sold on savethetatas.com, product sold to our authorized retailers and on royalties received from sales of all of our licensed goods.

Many of our authorized retailers participate in our Donation Matching program, doubling the donation we would give. Culturally, we usually understand a donation in terms of "profits" or "proceeds."

Ta-tas^® Brand knows that sometimes little or no profit is made on an item, so we want our customer to be assured Ta-tas^® Brand makes our committed donation regardless of profit. This is why we calculate our donation by the actual sale price, not the profits made. From 2004 - 2010 this translated to roughly 50% of our profits.
